Just southeast of Hailgrad, the capital of Hailgalad, lies the Riverbrook Inn. It is a quaint establishment that rests upon a grassy field overlooking the babbling water of the Frostfall River.
Among the multitudes of travelers who come to the capital, many know this local gem and pay it a visit either on their way to or from the capital (many times, they stop going both ways).
There are a number of rooms where one can stay the night and sleep off the aches of the road by a warm fire, wrapped under warm covers. In the tavern, fires crackle away at all hours and Greta can be found tending to the bar with her trusty staff. This inn was built by her family and will be in the care of her own until the end of time.
Their speciality drink is a red ale called Riverbrook Red. Even the elite of the kingdom will stop here for a pint. The king and queen are known to order barrels of the beverage for their celebrations at the palace.
In terms of food, their venison stew for dinner would shake the chill off of any weary traveler. That, coupled with warm, freshly baked bread will not only fill your stomach but satisfy your soul.
Now, do not think there is only food and drink. The most alluring aspect of this enchanting establishment is its stories. Locals and people from distant lands are at the inn every night with a tale for the patrons.
